Statement
The process of printmaking has intrigued & totally engaged me. It has a mystic quality unique to the Printmaker's art because the image appears as if from another place when one pulls the first proof from the press!
My subjects are largely drawn from recollections of things seen.
Very often they are biblically based.
My 'making', is always an expression of my pilgrim journey, whatever the subject matter.
More recently I have focused largely on painting. My pocket sketchbook however is an essential companion constantly drawing people and occasions and visually exploring ideas is an affirmation of who I am.
